Standontwerp & Standenbouw

Design Vlaanderen | Flanders DC schrijft een wedstrijd uit voor ontwerp en bouw van de stand voor hun magazine Kwintessens op de Biënnale Interieur in Kortrijk. Dit driemaandelijkse tijdschrift is een redactionele samenwerking tussen Design Vlaanderen en Flanders Fashion Institute.

Rotorgroup wint deze wedstrijd met een ontwerp dat zich onderscheidt zich door gebruik van eerlijke materialen in combinatie met grafische elementen. Materialen en graphics gaan hand in hand zoals de symbiose van mode en design die wordt gebracht in Kwintessens Magazine.

Event Stand Design

Culinaria is al 10 jaar hét evenement dat mensen samenbrengt die graag lekker eten, drinken en plezier beleven. Meer dan ooit worden hier Belgisch culinair talent en Belgische producten gepromoot. Bezoekers kunnen een bevoorrecht kijkje achter de schermen nemen bij artiesten uit de haute gastronomie.

Rotorgroup ontwerpt en realiseert de stand voor Hendrik Dierendonck tijdens dit event. Om de bezoeker mee te nemen op een ontdekkingsreis naar de pure smaak van vlees, laten we hem wandelen tussen zware kapblokken, de intense geur ruiken van de grill, een rijpingskamer bewonderen met rib eye, rosbief, entrecôte, bout of carré en aanschuiven aan een lange tafel met zware schragen om te genieten van al dat lekkers.

Event Styling

Tijdens Battle of the Butchers is Hendrik Dierendonck zelf de host. Op de plek waar nu de Slagerij Dierendonck gevestigd is in Sint-Idesbald, brengt hij Les Bouchers Stars, chef David Martin en het publiek samen voor een grand tour doorheen zijn wereld.

Hier kleedt Rotorgroup de ruwe ruimte aan als ouderwetse bokshal. De sfeerbepalende verlichting, de circusachtige graphics, zorgvuldig gekozen meubelstukken, de juiste outfits: de weldoordachte tijdelijke transformatie van de ruimte in combinatie met ijzersterke communicatie zorgen voor een belevenis die de gasten niet snel vergeten. En dat willen wij natuurlijk bereiken voor onze klanten!

Ons interieurteam krijgt een grondige briefing over de verschillende stappen in- en noden voor het revalidatieproces. Ergonomie, de relatie tussen mens of patiënt en zijn omgeving, wordt de basisfilosofie in dit ontwerp.

We nemen alle ruimtes zorgvuldig onder de loep: podologische onderzoeksruimtes, paskamers, gipsruimte, loopschool en revalidatie-omgevingruimte. Ze stralen rust en openheid uit. We gebruiken grote foto’s en elementen uit de sportwereld om patiënten aan te sporen om uitdagingen aan te gaan en een kwalitatief leven te herwinnen met een prothese.

Concept Store Interior Design

De verhuis van de bestaande vestiging in Kuurne naar een nieuwe toplocatie in Kortrijk luidde voor Bossuyt&Co een nieuw tijdperk in. Naast de rebranding van de huisstijl werkte Rotor gelijktijdig aan een heuse concept store.

Een concept store is een winkel waar niet alleen het verkopen van producten centraal staat. De inrichting en het assortiment van de winkel zijn afgestemd op een centraal thema of een bepaalde lifestyle. …

De uitdaging bestond erin om de beschikbare industriële ruimte om te toveren naar een winkel waarbij de shop experience op de eerste plaats komt. Voor elk gamma werd de ideale productvoorstelling bedacht. Zo is er de gekoelde ruimte achter glas voor de net iets exclusievere wijnen, de bar voor de proeverijen, de bibliotheekpresentatie voor de sterke spirits en een speelhoek voor de kinderen. Het volledige concept werd opgebouwd rond een levensgrote centrale wijnkist waarin zich de kantoren bevinden.

Modular Showroom Design

‘We gaan een kunstacademie bouwen in jullie showroom’. Met dit idee kan Rotorgroup aan de slag voor ontwerp en inrichting van de nieuwe showroom voor Modular Lighting Instruments in Roeselare.

De verschillende toepassingen en mogelijkheden van de architecturale verlichting worden optimaal aan de bezoeker voorgesteld in thematisch nagebouwde leslokalen. Elke klasinrichting wordt minutieus voorbereid en samengesteld. Het hele team werkt mee aan dit project en schuimt land en zee af op zoek naar de juiste accessoires, props, meubeltjes klein en groot, beelden, foto’s, tekeningen, …

In dit showroomontwerp vind je een bibliotheek, de turnzaal, fotografie-, muziek-, architectuur-, schilder- en beeldhouwklassen. Ze zijn allemaal ingericht alsof de leerlingen er zonet zijn buiten gelopen. We bouwen alle ruimtes rond een centrale binnenplaats waar de buitenverlichting aan bod komt.

Cardboard Stand Design for Novy

Pardon? Een stand in karton? Jazeker! Rotorgroup kiest voor de stand van Novy op de Biënnale Interieur voor een innovatieve aanpak op gebied van materiaalgebruik. We refereren aan de productverpakking en de ‘how-to-install’ instructies en bouwen de stand volledig op met lichte, maar toch zeer stevige Re-board kartonnen sandwichpanelen. Dit materiaal is 100% recycleerbaar.

Het mag gezegd dat deze beursstand op heel wat enthousiasme kon rekenen en bijval kon genieten van vele open minded Interieur-bezoekers met een uitgesproken voorliefde voor conceptuele designs.

Interior & Lighting Design

AGSO Knokke-Heist en Sportoase bouwen samen het nieuwe zwembad aan de Duinenwater site, een trekpleister voor watersporten. Zij vragen aan Rotorgroup om het totaalconcept voor de interieurinrichting op zich te nemen.

In nauwe samenspraak met de key players in dit project werkt het interior design team van Rotorgroup aan de conceptbepaling. We starten met een algemene look & feel, mogelijke kleurenpaletten en materiaalkeuzes. We volgen een strakke planning met verschillende milestones. Met behulp van 3D-visualisering en rendering kunnen finale keuzes gemaakt worden en zorgt Rotogroup mee voor omschrijven en documenteren van het lastenboek.

Er worden definitieve plannen opgemaakt voor inrichting van de verschillende baden, kleedkamers en sanitaire ruimtes, wellness en sauna, inkom en burelen en de brasserie. Rotorgroup werkt ook het grootste deel van de uitvoering zelf af. We produceren en plaatsen de visuele elementen, vast en losstaand meubilair op maat en de – voor dit project speciaal ontworpen – verlichtingsarmaturen.

Standontwerp en Productie

Rotorgroup levert het concept aan en produceert deze beursstand voor zitmeubelfabrikant Durlet. Ons projectteam bewijst hier dat wij naast het uitdokteren van een verrassend concept ook creatief kunnen zijn met een budget. De stand verandert door enkele slimme en goed doordachte aanpassingen van een zolder in het eerste jaar, naar een strandhuis in het tweede jaar. En in een volgend jaar gebruiken we dezelfde basis opnieuw voor een fluorescerende ruimte tijdens IMM, The Interior Business Event in Keulen, Duitsland.

Pinball Stand Design & Realisatie

Rotorgroup ondersteunt Modular’s marktintroductie van een heel nieuwe reeks LED-toestellen voor architecturale verlichting met het ontwerp en de uitvoering van een beursstand in de vorm van een levensgrote pinball machine.

Zichtbare score-tellers houden bij hoe veel deze stand minder verbruikt, vergeleken met vorige standen die nog uitgerust waren met traditionele verlichtingsbronnen. Uitbundige kleuren, lichtjes all-over, veel bling-bling, drukke prints, een gigantisch hoofd als kick-out hole én bar, moving flippers en bumper tables: ons interior design team mocht al hun jongensdromen levensgroot maken in dit standontwerp.

Surrealism Stand Design & Productie

Voor het design van hun stand op ’s werelds leading trade fair for lighting in Frankfurt doet Modular opnieuw beroep op Rotorgroup. Het werkthema wordt surrealisme dit keer, de kunststroming die de voor de hand liggende werkelijkheid ontkent, maar dieper in het menselijk brein een andere realiteit zoekt. Ons interior design team laat alle verbeeldingskracht en creative madness de vrije loop.

Infinity stairs, vissen en vogels… of vogels en vissen (?), heel vreemde deurtjes, gouden kooien en mysterieuze sleutels. We lonken naar meesters als Magritte, Picasso en Dalì. Dit concept wordt ook de rode draad in de catalogus, media campagnes en online communicatie.

We bouwen deze stand in de sfeer van de centrale vertrekhal van een luchthaven. Het is een plek waar het nooit stil is, waar nieuwe avonturen ontstaan, waar altijd wel iets gebeurt. Details als controletoren, lounge-area, check-in balie, bagagetransportbanden, … maken de look & feel compleet.
