Product Design

RE-THINK, RE-VISIT, RE-VOLT

Re-volt, Een merk, een filosofie, maar vooral een mix van creatievelingen en ambachtslui. Re-volt ontwerpt en ontwikkelt – in een eerste tijd – verlichting met het ene oog op duurzaamheid en het andere op design. Mooie interieurstukken met andere woorden, die generatie na generatie overleven. Niet alleen omdat ze kwaliteitsvol zijn, maar ook omdat ze gehuld gaan in een tijdloos design. En omdat Re-volt ervan overtuigd is dat vooral datgene wat niet verandert uiteindelijk interessant is in een wereld waar verandering steeds meer en steeds sneller een constante wordt.

Interior Concept

5 jaar na de overname verhuist het succesvolle Optiek Dejonghe naar de Grote Markt in Poperinge. Rotorgroup mag tekenen voor interieurconcept en inrichting van de nieuwe winkel.

Overal in de ruimte vind je verwijzingen naar het vak: etalagedisplays in de vorm van een foropter instrument, de kidscorner in brilcontour, signalisatie in leesletter-lichtbakjes, kastdeuren met uitgespaard skimasker-silhouet.

Er is veel aandacht besteed aan de verlichting met custom made mirror lighting en een lange, lichtgevende brillenwand.

Matzwart gelakt staal, multiplex grenen fineer en accenten in messing zijn de belangrijkste materialen.

Logo Design

Als bij een verhuis een nieuw interieur wordt gekozen, stellen wij ons bij Rotorgroup ook meteen de vraag of logo en huisstijl van de klant nog kloppen met de nieuwe uitstraling.

We mogen ook voor Optiek Dejonghe de branding onder handen nemen: heldere vormgeving, niet te strak, duurzaam en geschikt voor toepassingen op papier, verpakking, scherm en etalage.

Product Design

Ruisende bossen, kabbelende rivieren, de golvende zee. Japanners noemen het geluid van de natuur ‘Matsukaze’: de wind in de pijnbomen (letterlijk).

Het Japanse R-Live, Real Nature Sound Live, ontwikkelde een unieke set speakerboxen, programmeerbaar via tablet, die tegemoet komen aan de stijgende vraag naar zeer realistische natuurgeluiden voor huis, winkel, restaurant of kantoor. Deze geluiden, die anders verloren zouden gaan in de hedendaagse stad, volgen je biologische klok, het verloop van een dag, de seizoenen.

R-live vroeg Rotorgroup om het product in een mooi design te gieten. In hoofdzaak de akoestische eisen waren bepalend voor de pure vorm van deze set met twee boxen en versterker.

Een klare briefing, sprekende moodboards, grondige feedback en overtuigende, realistische rendering zorgden ervoor dat de afstand tussen klant en Rotorgroup niet het minste obstakel vormde in dit project.

Basic Branding

Rotorgroup tekent daarna ook voor de branding van dit systeem met een gesynchroniseerde soundwave als eenvoudig maar sterk beeldmerk.

De verpakking krijgt een simpele zwart-naturelle kleur met grafisch eucalyptusbloem-element. Datzelfde grafische element keert onder meer terug in de template voor de productfolder.

Menumagazine & Branding

Ruth Lagast en Arnaud Averein van Chagall in Nieuwpoort runnen samen met hun familie een must-visit topadresje aan onze Belgische kust. Genieten doe je daar op de zonovergoten terrassen vooraan of achteraan van koffie bij de ochtendkrant, een heerlijke lunch, crêpe Chagall in de namiddag of zeevruchtenavond in de zomervakantie.

Voor de presentatie van al dat lekkers geeft Rotorgroup voor elk nieuw seizoen vorm aan een aangepast menumagazine. Naast de menukaart vind je er grappige weetjes en geschiedenisjes, recepten, kleurplaten en spelletjes, publireportages en advertenties in. Klanten mogen het magazine met stevige cover als ze dat wensen zelfs gewoon meenemen naar huis.

Sinds enige tijd is er ook Chagall Beach, de bar op het strand tijdens de zomerperiode. Hiervoor ontwerpt Rotorgroup het frisse blauw-witte logo en de vaste drankenkaart met een meer zuiderse look maar eveneens met extra informatieve content.

Bij de Chagall Nieuwpoort stijl hoort vanzelfsprekend een klaar en duidelijke website met een brasserie- en een beachbar-gedeelte. Hier geen vertellementjes of uitgebreide publiciteit, maar pure info over wat je moet weten. Voor de laatste nieuwtjes vind je er wel duidelijke links naar social media en de nieuwsbrief.

Rotorgroup maakte op vraag van Ruth & Arnaud ook een template layout voor de digitale newsletter, die bij elke gelegenheid naar wens kan ingevuld worden en eigenhandig verstuurd via MailChimp.

Rebranding

Slagerij Peter en Sabine is een gevestigde waarde in de slagerswereld en een naam als een klok in Sint-Pieters-Woluwe en ver daarbuiten. Bij deze ambachtelijke slager met een prachtig aanbod aan klassiekers en huisgemaakte specialiteiten hoort ook een sterke huisstijl. Rotorgroup voorzag hen van een sprekend embleemlogo met duidelijk afgekaderde tekst. Het keert terug in alle huisstijl-elementen zoals naamkaartjes, verpakkingen, etiketten, prijsprikkers, uniformen, en zo meer. We leverden stijlvolle, herbruikbare tassen. De gevelbanners kregen de Peter & Sabine-stijl en we mochten ook de übercoole Smart Brabus voor hen carwrappen : een bommetje op maat!

Klanten worden met de regelmaat van de klok op de hoogte gehouden van nieuws en speciale gelegenheden via Meat & Read, een eigen tweetalige krant met onder meer suggesties, receptjes, achtergrondinformatie over producten en een specials-prijslijst… Helemaal in Peter & Sabine-stijl.

Enigszins afwijkend, maar toch ook weer niet, werd het logo van Peter’s Fabrik door Rotorgroup gestyled. Peter’s Fabrik is de merknaam voor de eigen, huisgemaakte charcuterie en fijne vleeswaren. Die naam staat garant voor kwaliteit en herkomst, geen bewaarmiddelen of toegevoegde suikers. Het logo straalt die degelijkheid uit en hoort duidelijk bij Slagerij Peter & Sabine.

Rotorgroup zette de website voor Slagerij Peter & Sabine op in een tweetalige krantenartikel-layout. Het gedeelte met de verschillende assortimenten is opgemaakt uit makkelijk aan te passen PDF-templates. Een nieuws- en contact-sectie met links naar de verschillende sociale media maken het geheel af. De website blijft ook lekker leesbaar op tablet en smartphone, daar zorgt het responsieve webdesign voor.

Corporate Identity

Tegen de Franse grens, in de provincie Namen renoveerden Peter Van Compernolle en Sabine Rogiers van de gelijknamige Brusselse slagerij een magnifiek landhuis tot het luxueuze vakantiedomein Château Lacrou.

Rotorgroup mag aan de slag voor de huisstijl van deze prachtig ingerichte parel. We kiezen voor een gecombineerd logo met eigentijdse fonts en verwijzen naar het dorp aan de rivier; mensen komen hier immers grotendeels om van de streek te genieten, dus het is eens zo handig als je meteen weet waar Château Lacrou gelegen is.

De typografie wordt verder toegepast in folders, briefhoofden, offerte-templates, uitgebreide informatiefiches (met iPad-versie) voor keuken en wellness-verdieping, veiligheidsplannen, en zo verder. Gasten worden verwend met heerlijk geurende gepersonaliseerde zeepjes, buttonmagneten en 4 verschillende postkaarten voor het thuisfront of gewoon als herinnering aan een heerlijk weekend.

Nieuwe Huisstijl

Dit Brugse advocatenkantoor was toe aan een nieuwe stijl en koos Rotorgroup als partner voor de rebranding: Vox-Advocaten wordt de nieuwe naam. We ontwerpen een gecombineerd logo met een merkbeeld dat vormelijk versterkend werkt voor de naam. De vernieuwde, kleurrijke identiteit wordt weerspiegeld in onze layouts voor naamkaartjes – uiteraard – maar ook briefhoofden, omslagen, dossier- en bewijskaften. In één oogopslag zie je : Vox-Advocaten!

Relaties worden met een verhuiskaart op de hoogte gebracht van de rebranding en de intrek in de opgefriste kantoren. Ook bij daaropvolgende gelegenheden zoals Nieuwjaar, wordt grafische communicatie ingezet om contacten vertrouwd te maken met het nieuwe imago.
